From local to multinational commerce: The beginning of Grandeal
Every result requires effort and time invested which is the price that many are not willing to pay. While the future seems daunting, we need to face the challenges if we want to succeed in the project. My walk starts like this. Of migrant origin, my Iraqi family decided to change their lives to the United States and Mexico post-crisis in the mid-1930s. My parents who were born in Mexico sought the solution to what my Middle Eastern ancestors know how to do best: to undertake and negotiate. And so began, for 25 years, the family business focused on imported products of children’s retail. It was there, at the age of eight and selling popcorn to customers visiting our store, that I decided I wanted to be an entrepreneur and have my own business.
I was born and raised in Mexico, I have a degree in accounting and finance from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies (ITESM). During my professional life in Mexico I was able to improve my skills and knowledge in the business world: sales, accounting, finance, auditing, business administration, human capital, international business and business-oriented coaching. It was in 2017 that I decided to completely change the course of my career and within a few bags, much expectation about the country that grew exponentially. In Brazil I put down roots and studied an MBA Business Management at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, (FGV) in the city of Curitiba.
The first steps:
The idea of developing a business has always been what motivated me in almost all my career decisions. Being an entrepreneur is not a simple task, many trials are born and die at the same speed. It is necessary to insist with patience and persistence to reap the fruits, as well as in mountaineering, a sport that I love. And that’s how In 2018, The Grandeal was born.
The company is international and has operations in Brazil, Mexico and the United States. The Grandeal aims to foster and offer solutions to internationalize organizations with success and added value, so that by choosing The Grandeal, choose expansion, professionalism, security, efficiency, results, honesty, confidentiality and above all, compliance.
